The professional staff team at the Trust currently stands at 7 full time and 2 part time.
Land Management Team
Our team of three Rangers (Rob, Rhianna & Phil) are “out in the field” in all weather’s completing the conservation, management and maintenance work set out in the Trust’s Management Plan and Work Programme which is devised and managed by Head Ranger (Darren M) alongside his work as a bat ecologist and health and safety manager. Part-time Seabird Ecologist (Vickie) is carrying out research and survey work on seabirds across the Islands during the summer months.
Communications and Education Team
Communications Officer (Nikki) & Education Ranger (Darren H) are responsible for organising and delivering our action packed educational events and activities programme, for kids of all sizes. Newsletters, PR, marketing, the Plastic Free Scilly initiative, advertising and interpretation and signage also come into Nikki's job role! Part-time Marine Ranger (Natalie) can be found aboard Scillonian III, 2 days a week; introducing visitors to our Islands to all things wild during their journey and sign-posting on to further fantastic experiences on arrival.
And finally....Chief Executive (Sarah) ensures that the charity is run smoothly and efficiently and does everything else including finance, fundraising, compliance, membership, HR and all the things expected of a charity CEO.
