The Isles of Scilly is home to some incredible wildlife, from grey seals to seabirds, unique plants and amazing rockpool creatures, some of which are found nowhere else in the UK.
Adopt a Scilly Species
You can support the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust by adopting a Scilly species. What will you choose: Scilly shrew, shearwater or seal?
Natterjack toad
The rare natterjack toad is found at just a few coastal locations, where it prefers shallow pools on sand dunes, heaths and marshes.
Common toad
Despite its warts and ancient associations with witches, the common toad is a gardener's friend, sucking up slugs and snails. It is famous for migrating en masse to its breeding ponds.
