Neil was co-opted to the Board of Trustees in February 2019 and splits his time between living on the Mainland and living in Scilly.

Neil has been a regular visitor to Scilly for more then twenty years and now owns a property on St Mary’s, spending a significant part of the year on the islands.

Most of Neil’s career was spent in senior positions in the charity sector, including time spent on a number of voluntary sector bodies working closely with different government departments. Latterly, his roles included 10 years as Chief Executive of Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. He also has many years of experience of serving as a charity trustee.

Neil’s interests include hiking, gardening, volunteering and most sports. He has one grown-up daughter and a dog - both of whom share his passion for the islands.
