Legacies and memorial gifts are vital in enabling us to do so much to look after over half the Isles of Scilly, ensuring that our isles are kept special for future generations.
We all know how special the Isles of Scilly are. Whether you live or work here or visit our islands on holiday, you’ll know how the beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife get under your skin. We are determined to keep our islands special for everyone and for wildlife, encouraging species to thrive and protecting our wild habitats. That's why we're so grateful for your support.
Thank you for sharing your sightings of Scilly's most iconic shorebird. The map below shows all of our sightings so far. We'll be taking all of this data, combining it with our own breeding seabird survey and using this protect our precious oystercatchers into the future.
Nature is for everyone and should be accessible to all. We are embarking on a project to make improvements to Higher Moors which so everyone can get closer to nature and enjoy the incredible wildlife in our wetland reserves.
This summer, the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust is launching an appeal to save Scilly's special shorebirds. Donate now to help some of our most vulnerable breeding birds, like oystercatchers and ringed plovers, survive and thrive around the islands.
