Shoresearch
As part of our Marine Biodiversity Project a number of Shoresearch surveys collected data on marine species of the Isles of Scilly. These surveys took place on Scilly's rocky shores throughout the summer of 2009 & 2010.
The surveys were organised on dates with spring tides throughout the spring, summer and autumn and involves recording the seaweeds and animals found at different heights on the shore.
Shoresearch surveys have finished for now but we hope to continue them in the future.
Thanks to all the volunteers who came along and helped us with this survey work . We completed 28 surveys in 2010 adding to surveys done in 2009.
