Want to identify a fish? Doug Herdson has put together a photo fish identification guide that can be downloaded. Doug has been helping investigate what fish can be found Scillonian waters and current fishing practices. You can help as well by telling us what you have seen.

Doug Herdson is a fish expert and specialises in rare and unusual fish. Doug worked with us on the Isles of Scilly Marine Biodiversity Project to help find out more about fish in Scilly. He talked to many of the fishermen in Scilly, encouraging them to participate in recording what they catch. A report of his findings is available to download here.
