Isles of Scilly National Landscape Officer

Full-time – until at least 30th Sept 2027 – based in the Isles of Scilly.

£27,917-£30,011 starting salary, depending on experience.

The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust, as delivery partner for the Isles of Scilly National Landscape Partnership, is seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to work full-time in Scilly. The post will start as soon as possible, and run until 30th September 2027, with a possibility of extension.

We have considerable flexibility over the skills and experience of the suitable candidates. Good interpersonal skills will be vital; the Officer will need to be excellent at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholder organisations and the local community.

The postholder will be central to ensuring delivery of the new (2026-2030) IoSNL Management Plan. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and quick to seize opportunities in order to secure better outcomes for landscape and nature.

If this sounds like you, then we look forward to your application. Please contact hello@ios-wildlifetrust.org.uk if you wish to have an informal discussion about this opportunity.

Finding suitable housing is a challenge for many people in the Isles of Scilly, and even harder for those moving to the islands, but not always impossible. The application form asks candidates to indicate how they would be able to live in Scilly to be able to undertake this job.

Closing date: 9am, Wednesday 10th June
