The local volunteer group

The local Wildlife Trust volunteers are springing into action. Every Thursday afternoon a group of local volunteers and visitors get out and about snipping, lopping, raking and caring for Scilly.

If you live locally or are visiting Scilly then join our local group. This group is run by volunteers and they meet most Thursday afternoons throughout the year to carry out practical work on Trust reserves around St Mary's.

To join just meet us by the Shelter, on the Strand, St. Mary's 1.30pm. Just wait for the red pick-up truck and then we will head out to a reserve. Please come dressed for the weather and clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

Everyone is welcome but if you are under 18 please contact us to ensure that the work is suitable for your age.
