Seabird Recovery Project
A partnership of organisations (including the RSPB, the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust (IOSWT), the Isles of Scilly Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) and Natural England is carrying out a feasibility study to review current and consider future work to control brown rats that threaten the internationally important seabird colonies in Scilly.

Lesser black-backed gulls
The population of Lesser black-backed gulls in the Isles of Scilly has declined over the last decade. One PhD student has been studying the colony on Gugh.
 
Kittewakes
Kittewake Project 2010
A research project in association with the University of Plymouth and Natural England to investigate the decline in black-legged kittiwakes in Scilly by investigating the possible role of predation by large gulls.
